2nd Grade Art Exhibition and Musical Production of
"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"
Join us for a fun-filled evening, viewing 2nd grade masterpieces and watching the 2nd graders production of the musical "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".
Students’ artwork will be displayed, ranging from three-dimensional, mixed-media, and painting.
Art Exhibition and Performance will be held on Tuesday, May 13th at 6:00 pm.

Box Top contest is almost over…
The Deadline
is Monday, May 19th
If you have been clipping, collecting, and
saving, now is the time to turn in those Box Tops for the 2013-2014 school year. The class that brings in the most Box Tops
will get a frozen yogurt party! Make sure your Box Tops are clipped, not expired, and bag
is labeled with your teacher’s name, so your class has a chance to win this yummy
prize.

Safe Routes is conducting a survey regarding your thoughts about your child walking or riding a bike to school.
If you have not had a chance to take this brief survey, please do so.

STEAM DAY
May 23
Steam Day will be a fun filled day of
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics!
Materials needed (please send in to PTA room):
plastic 2 liter bottles, rinsed and dried;
gently used or new measuring cups and spoons (these will not be returned);
and tailgating tents (needed the day of event).
Monarch PTA is in search of a volunteer to serve as a WEBMASTER for our soon-to-be PTA website. If you are interested in helping out, or know of someone that may be qualified, please contact Stephanie Sobke at monarchvolunteers@gmail.com.
Interested individuals should have prior web design and maintenance experience.
